A Downtown Landmark, Reimagined
Mercantile Immersive sits inside The Historic Mercantile Building, a downtown Cincinnati landmark with roots in the city’s literary, commercial, and cultural life. Completed in 1904, the building was originally designed with street-level retail, offices above, and the Mercantile Library on the upper floors, where it still remains today.
Today, Mercantile Immersive continues that legacy in a new way. The building has once again become a place for people to gather, connect with the city, and experience something remarkable—this time through a world-class immersive venue in the heart of downtown.
Inside, the transformation is extraordinary: 14,400 LED panels, 14 miles of cable, and more than 256 million pixels surround the space with cinematic visuals. Paired with spatial audio and automated tracking, Mercantile is a technical marvel built for the future of events, and a new chapter for one of Cincinnati’s historic downtown spaces.
