Mercantile Immersive is located inside the Historic Mercantile Building in downtown Cincinnati. The venue provides visitors and residents a new way to experience the Cincinnati, with a central location near Fountain Square, hotels, restaurants, parking garages, and the downtown riverfront.

Not exactly. Mercantile Immersive is primarily a private event venue for corporate events, galas, weddings, and celebrations, with select ticketed events hosted throughout the year. You can explore upcoming public experiences on our ticketed events page.

Mercantile Immersive can accommodate up to 500 guests for a seated event and up to 700 guests for a cocktail-style event. The venue includes the Vista Room, our main ballroom; the Oculus Room, which can be used for seated or cocktail space; two full-service bars; and private suites for VIPs, brides, grooms and breakout sessions.

Mercantile Immersive is best for one-of-a-kind events where atmosphere, guest experience, and location all matter. It’s a strong fit for corporate events, brand activations, nonprofit galas, fundraisers, weddings, milestone celebrations, and private events that should feel unlike anything guests have experienced before.

When you book Mercantile Immersive, you get more than access to the venue. Our team helps plan the event experience from the hospitality side and the immersive design side, including layout, food, bar, staffing, service style, visuals, sound, and production needs.
Every event is different, so the exact inclusions depend on your guest count, format, menu, service style, and creative direction. We’ll walk through those details with you during the planning process.

Yes. Immersive design is part of how events are planned at Mercantile. With our partners at Lightborne, our team will talk through what the space should look, sound, and feel like for your event, including scenes, branded visuals, presentations, lighting, sound, motion, and any custom content needs.
The level of creative production depends on your event. Some events use existing scenes or branded design elements, while others call for a more custom content process.

Catering and bar service are provided by DelightMore, the hospitality team behind Mercantile Immersive. Your event or wedding can include custom menus, passed or displayed hors d’oeuvres, plated dinners, stations, buffets, late-night food, bar service, bartenders, service staff, and specialty cocktails.
We’ll help you choose the right menu, bar options, service style, staffing, and setup based on the event you’re hosting.

Yes. Our team helps plan the practical details that make the event work, including layout, service flow, staffing, rentals, setup, teardown, and event-day support. Depending on your event, this may include tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, flatware, napkins, lounge furniture, and other event needs.

Yes. Mercantile has an accessible entrance at 115 E Fourth Street, and staff assistance is available for guests who need help entering the venue.

Guest arrival details may vary by event but in most cases our 4th Street entrance is best. During planning, our team will confirm the best entrance, parking recommendations, valet details if applicable, and any accessibility instructions you should share with guests.
